UYR have made a major investment in their print capabilities with the installation of a new B2 press and a completely new pre-press and finishing operation.

This move doubles our print capacity, and will allow us to maintain the excellent service standards we have set for our customers.

UYR appointed sole supplier for Luminar Leisure plc clubs

UYR have been appointed sole supplier of POS to Luminar plc’s 92 clubs. Luminar are the UK’s largest nightclub operator, and the contract covers all Luminar’s promotional print, is delivered via an online print creation system created specifically to cater for the fast paced and exciting nightclub industry.

The managers in Luminar’s brands such as Oceana and Liquid use UYR’s online print system to create artwork, access instant proofs and order delivery within 72 hours.

UYR have been appointed sole supplier of POS to 3D Entertainment’s 76 (check this) clubs. 3D’s flagship brands Mortimers, Jumpin Jaks and Chicago Rock Café will benefit from the lightning fast delivery and outstanding artwork delivered by UYR’s online delivery system.

UYR achieves BESA Accreditation

After several months of audit and inspection UYR have achieved accreditation form BESA (British Education Suppliers Association). This award is a major achievement UYR, who are now the only design, print and multimedia organisation to gain this.

Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises

UYR, from the beginning 2009, will now be supplying all 2,000 S&N tenanted outlets with outstanding POS, tailored by managers to local conditions through the UYR online print system. S&N coming on board represents another significant strengthening of UYR’s position in supplying the licensed trade.

Trust Inns

UYR continue to develop online buying solutions for leisure groups with the launch of Trust Inns POS creation intranet site.

The site gives all 640 Trust Inns tenants and managers access to an online stock of promotional material ranging from posters and flyers to banners and menus, and further cements UYR’s strong presence in the licensed trade sector.

Dearne Valley Pitch Win

For the third consecutive year UYR have been awarded the design and print contract for Dearne Valley College, including items such as the full time / part time prospectus and other college collateral. One of the hardest pitches to date definitely for UYR to not only win against stiff competition, but also design and produce for the 3rd year running, something that will be better than the previous 2 years and continue to push the college to new levels of success. Proving that, as the saying goes...you’re only as good as your last job.

UYR have been busy working closely with the college to re-vamp and create new logos for their ‘Griffin Restaurant’, ‘Inner Beauty’ salon and Student Services. The final work is part of an ongoing strategy to bring all the areas inline with the new college brand which UYR introduced last year.

UYR win pitch to promote and advertise the refurbishment of the Fitness Unlimited gym at Ponds Forge, Sheffield. The campaign includes conceptual ideas carried across to a range of outdoor media and sales collateral and will run in 2 phases.

Farnborough College

After successfully winning the pitch, UYR have been chosen to design and print Farnborough College’s course leaflets for 2008. The leaflets consisting of x16 styles to follow the style of the college’s current prospectus are will be designed and finally printed at UYR’s in house print facility.

College of West Anglia

UYR have been selected to design and print the 2009/2009 prospectus for the college after a hard fought battle with several other companies. The prospectus is due for release early April 2008.
